Day 1: Fes ➝ Ifrane ➝ Azrou ➝ Midelt ➝ Ziz Valley ➝ Merzouga
Pick up from your accommodation in Fes at 7:30 a.m. and depart across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, Morocco’s cleanest city, then continue through Azrou, Midelt, and the scenic Ziz Gorges. Arrive in Merzouga, where the Erg Chebbi dunes appear on the horizon. Enjoy a camel ride into the desert to reach your equipped Berber camp. Watch the mesmerizing sunset over the dunes and spend the night in traditional nomad tents.
Day 2: Merzouga ➝ Ziz Valley ➝ Azrou ➝ Ifrane ➝ Fes
Wake up early to enjoy a stunning sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and shower, depart Merzouga on camel back to the hotel. Begin the drive back to Fes through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Azrou to see wild monkeys in the cedar forest. Continue via Ifrane and arrive in Fes by evening, completing your desert adventure.
