This 2-day desert adventure from Ouarzazate takes you through the breathtaking landscapes of southern Morocco. Day 1: Ouarzazate ➝ Anti-Atlas ➝ Agdez ➝ Draa Valley ➝ Mhamid ➝ Erg Chegaga
Depart in the morning from Ouarzazate in a 4×4. Cross the Anti-Atlas mountains and stop at Agdez before following the palm-filled Draa Valley. Lunch stop in Zagora, then continue to Mhamid where camels await to take you into the Erg Chegaga dunes. Watch a stunning sunset and spend the night in a Berber desert camp.
Dinner & overnight in Camp de Jaimas.
Day 2: Erg Chegaga ➝ Lake Iriqui ➝ Foum Zguid ➝ Taznakht ➝ Ouarzazate
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, drive off-road across the wild landscapes between Erg Chegaga and the dry Draa lake. Pass by Lake Iriqui and Foum Zguid, then stop in Taznakht for lunch and to discover local Berber carpets. Arrival in Ouarzazate by evening.
