The Plan of the 7 Days Morocco Desert Trip from Casablanca

Day 1 : CASABLANCA – RABAT – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FEZ

Then after visiting all the main attractions in we continued our tour toward Rabat and visit here main sites. We continue to the city of Meknes, and then we visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis before we drive to Fez. We will explore the UNESCO World Site Volubilis and learn about Roman Culture. Upon arrival in Fes, we stay overnight in a local hotel with dinner. That’s the end of 1st day of the Morocco tour.

 Day 2: FEZ CITY TOUR

Today we will explore the medina in Fez and we will walk inside its alleys, we visit the Jewish quarter, Royal Palace, and the famous tanneries, then the Quaraouine mosque. This mosque is considered the first university in the world. We stay this night in a local hotel in Fez with dinner.

 Day 3 : FEZ – MIDELT – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT AND CAMEL RIDE

Our 6-Day private tour from Casablanca around Morocco continues and we travel to Ifrane, called the Switzerland of Morocco. We stop at Azrou, which is a Berber village in the cedar forest. We continue to Midelt, then Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani. Once we arrive in Merzouga, we prepare for a desert camel ride in Erg Chebbi. This desert trek in Merzouga will be guided by an experienced camel guide. We will explore the Merzouga dunes and then we reach the Sahara desert camp to enjoy dinner at the campfire. You will also enjoy Berber music and we stay overnight in desert tents.

 Day 4 : MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT – RISSANI – TODGHA GORGE – DADES GORGES

Today in the morning we will enjoy watching the desert sunrise in Merzouga Sahara. We will ride camels and after breakfast, we drive towards Rissani and Tinghir and we explore the canyon in Todgha Gorge. It is the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco and we experience hiking within the amazing valley here. We drive towards the Dades Valley where we stay in a local hotel with dinner for the night.

 Day 5: MARRAKECH CITY TOUR

Today we explore Marrakech and its main attractions, sites, monuments, and gardens. We will visit the most important sites and historical, and cultural places. The visit includes the Majorelle Gardens, also Koutoubia Tower, and the Saadian tombs. We may visit the Bahia Palace and Menara gardens. Later we also explore the souk in Marrakech.

Day 6: Marrakech – Essaouira

We will start our trip early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech. The journey to Essaouira takes about 2.5 hours and stops along the way for visits to small Berber villages, olive groves, and scenic views.  Once in Essaouira, you‘ll have the chance to explore the city‘s old medina, with its whitewashed walls, wooden doors, and winding alleyways. You‘ll visit the fishing port and the small markets, as well as take a stroll on the beach. You‘ll also have the opportunity to take a camel ride and view the city‘s ancient fortifications.  After a day of sightseeing and exploration, we will transfer you to a beautiful riad for the overnight.

Day 7: Essaouira – Casablanca
