Morocco Imperial Cities and Desert in one tour from Casablanca

Day 1: CASABLANCA – RABAT – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FEZ

We start our Morocco Itinerary 8-day from Casablanca with a pick-up at your hotel or airport. Then after visiting all the main attractions in we continued our tour toward Rabat and visit here main sites. We continue to the city of Meknes, and then we visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis before we drive to Fez. Here we stay overnight in a local hotel with dinner. That’s the end of 1st day of the Morocco tour.

Day 2: FEZ CITY TOUR

Today we will explore the medina in Fez and we will walk inside its alleys, we visit the Jewish quarter, Royal Palace, and the famous tanneries, then the Quaraouine mosque. This mosque is considered the first university in the world. We stayed this night in a local hotel in Fez with dinner.

Day 3: FEZ – MIDELT – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT AND CAMEL RIDE

Our 6-Day private tour from Casablanca around Morocco continues and we travel to Ifrane, called the Switzerland of Morocco. We stop at Azrou, which is a Berber village in the cedar forest. We continue to Midelt, then Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani. Once we arrive in Merzouga, we prepare for a desert camel ride in Erg Chebbi. This desert trek in Merzouga will be guided by an experienced camel guide. We will explore Merzouga sand dunes and then we reach the Sahara desert camp to enjoy dinner at the campfire. You will also enjoy Berber music and we stay overnight in desert tents.

Day 4: MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT – RISSANI – TODGHA GORGE – DADES GORGES

Today in the morning we will enjoy watching the desert sunrise in Merzouga Sahara. We will ride camels and after breakfast, we will drive towards Rissani and Tinghir and we explore the canyon in Todgha Gorge. It is the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco and we experience hiking within the amazing valley here. We drive towards the Dades Valley where we stay in a local hotel with dinner for the night.

Day 5: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

Leaving Ouarzazate in the morning we will have another chance to visit Ait Benhaddou for lunch and a tour of this world heritage site. This famous 11th-century kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films including the famous Gladiator. After lunch, we will start our journey back to Marrakech through Tizi-n- Tichka and reach Marrakech in the evening.

Day 6: MARRAKECH CITY TOUR

A full-day tour of Marrakech. We will visit the Menara, a surrounded pool by flowerbeds that function as an irrigation system for the surrounding fields. The sightseeing tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, and Dar Si Said Palace Museum of Jewellery. Optional lunch will be in the Medina followed by a walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech. We will enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Djemaa El Fna Square from a terrace of a cafe.
